poem: where are you

feeling very detached from it all...

peace.

"where are you"
by zenjew

"where are you"

Being said
(anticipating future Hegelian dialectics)

to now awkwardly fig-leafed
cowering
Others
now standing in places
of

"their very own"

in a place
where they now believe

in binary distinction
they must now return

to the Being

they never departed.

I do so wonder what you are talking about here its obvious you have a specific situation or person in mind... something tells me you dont exactly see eye to eye with them or is it yourself?... its the negative vibe of the fig leaf/cowering... do share zj!

Very nice, I am with fg I haven't a blessed clue what you are talking about which doesn't matter. The poem is still beautiful.

i just got it..
i think
i must have read it 10 times..and it just clicked
nothing like that brain click when it happens!
anyway...

feeling detached is normal sometimes(especially if guilt is involved), but realizing that 'binary distinction' and understanding you never departed to begin with is the way to eventually reconnecting.. the key is not to start beleiving the illusion of disconnection..
(to quote you quoting the tao te ching: "trust your natural responses;
and everything will fall into place")

Hmmmm
the being they believed they departed is God..
the longer they've been removed from the source the more ashamed they are..thus the fig leafed (after sin)..
preparing for death?
for teshuva?

fg and sw: thanks for reading!

cd: we spoke.

anon: i'm flattered that you take my poems so seriously. i wish i took myself as seriously as you take me.

david: there's nothing to do...nothing to prepare for.

thanks for reading all! keep coming back--it works if you work it.

peace.
